Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of Checkforge, provided by Checkforge. By using Checkforge, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Checkforge helps you create, manage, share, and receive reminders for checklists. Some features may require an account, network connection, compatible device, or paid subscription. AI-generated suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate; review them before relying on them, especially for safety-critical, medical, legal, or financial tasks.

Your account and content

You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining access to your Apple or Google sign-in account. You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and provide features you request.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service; interfere with its operation or security; attempt unauthorized access; upload malicious code; violate another person's rights; use shared features to harass others; or use the service in violation of law. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or third parties.

Subscriptions

Checkforge may offer monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions. The app displays the subscription name, duration, price, and included features before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting Checkforge or deleting your Checkforge account does not itself cancel an Apple subscription. Purchases and refunds are administered by Apple under its terms and policies. Features available through a subscription may change, but we will continue to provide the paid service required for the subscription period under applicable rules.

Availability and changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update these terms; continued use after the revised terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Checkforge is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Checkforge will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

Termination

You may stop using Checkforge at any time and may delete your account in Profile. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these terms, security risk, legal requirement, or discontinuation of the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Apple terms

For the iOS app, Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Checkforge. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce the terms as they relate to the iOS app. Your use of the app must also comply with the applicable App Store terms.
